The Wave Pool is a venue unique to Richmond Hill, as it is the only one of its kind in the region. It features a massive wave pool and a 30 metre high waterslide for the whole family. For those who might want a little quieter experience there is also a sauna and a hot tub to enjoy here. This area is perfect for the whole family and it gives you a great way to spend any afternoon – especially if the weather is less than ideal. There are both low and high ropes courses, so visitors of various skill levels can participate. Eyer Ropes Challenge Course, located t 1045 Elgin Mills Rd E, has five high ropes elements, seventeen low ropes elements plus a climbing wall. If climbing isn’t exactly your thing you can spend time in the Eyer Wideman House which has a games room and a lounge to enjoy.

Although if big retail malls isn’t exactly your idea of shopping then you could also take a look at Old Richmond Hill, which is a strip that runs from Major Mackenzie to Richmond Heights and features local boutiques with some unique finds.
